Profile
Book: Varjak Paw ~ S.F. Said
Character: Varjak Paw
Personality: Varjak was once a very arrogant cat, and this can still come through sometimes. He is stubborn, though once put in his place he will apologise, and is very forgiving of his friends. He does not like being alone, even after defeating Sally Bones and the Gentleman, he still grows fearful, and though he loves his freedom, he will often feel like he's just a little cat in a big big world.
He is open minded when it comes to both other animals and different ways of doing things. Having lived a mostly sheltered life, he is quick to challenge a convention he doesn't agree with, though this is not always in his best interests. He can also seem fool-hardy at times, rushing in without thinking things through. But he always has the best intentions.
He is fearful of most humans, remembering his time as a pampered housecat leaves him with no real desire to return to that way of life. Also, to him humans are strange creatures that mean cats harm. His knowledge of them is limited to his experiences with The Gentleman and The Countessa, as well as what his friends Holly and Tam have told him. Because of this his behaviour is that of a usual alley cat. Mild curiousity, but a pretty strong fleeing instinct as well.
Physical Appearance: He's small, skinny, and covered in fur. In other words, he's a blue-grey cat, with yellow-green eyes, and a long tail.
